Sakura Deeptech Shibuya Accelerator Announces Inaugural 2025 Cohort / Sakura Deeptech Shibuya Accelerator 採択スタートアップ10社を発表

The Sakura Deeptech Shibuya Accelerator, a global program that supports deeptech startups in collaboration with world-class partners, has selected 10 startups through a rigorous screening process.

To mark the beginning of the program, a Kickoff Week event was held from Monday, June 23 to Friday, June 27 at SAKURA DEEPTECH SHIBUYA, located in the Shibuya Sakura Stage, welcoming the selected startups to Tokyo.

Over the next six months, the program will provide hands-on support, engaging a diverse group of global mentors from academia, venture capital, corporations, and subject matter experts. While the duration of the program will be primarily remote, the startups will return to Shibuya for Demo Day, scheduled to take place in December 2025.

世界トップクラスのパートナーとともにディープテックスタートアップを支援するグローバルアクセラレータープログラム「Sakura Deeptech Shibuya Accelerator」は、この度、10社（うち1社が日本企業、9社が海外企業）のディープテックスタートアップを選出しました。

本アクセラレータープログラムの開始に際し、6月23日(月)から6月27日(金)の5日間に、採択スタートアップを渋谷サクラステージのSAKURA DEEPTECH SHIBUYAに招き、キックオフイベントを実施いたしました。イベントには米マサチューセッツ工科大学（MIT）の教授であり、ディープテック領域で複数のスタートアップを創業してきた Desirée Plata 氏および Hermano Igo Krebs 氏も来日。自身の研究と起業経験に基づき、次世代のディープテック起業家たちに対してメンタリングセッションを行いました。

国内外の大学機関や自治体、ベンチャーキャピタル、企業、専門家など様々なグローバルなメンター陣を迎え入れて、半年間の伴走支援（主にハイブリッドを想定）を提供し、2025年12月には成果発表の場として「（仮称）Sakura Deeptech Shibuya Accelerator Demo Day 2025」を実施する予定です。
